MUMBAI: The CAT is usually taken by those who want to make it the Indian Institutes of Managements. But Munira Lokhandwala is an exception. Lokhandwala (32), who graduated from Indian Institutes of Management Calcutta in 1999, is a serial CAT-taker, who has been appearing for CAT every year for the last six years.

And if that’s not enough, she’s even managed to hit the bull’s eye twice, with a 100 percentile in 2005 and 2008. And a 99.99 percentile in the remaining papers.

Lokhandwala, who runs her own institute to train students for Common Admission Test, says she likes sitting for the exam every year ‘‘to stay in touch with the constantly evolving exam’’.

Munira worked for a couple of software companies, including Infosys, before she opted for a career in teaching.

Munira was associated with two well-known CAT coaching classes before she set up her own institute.
