Invitation for Ph. D. Programmes

Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. Programme in the following disciplines at IIT Indore for the Semester of the Academic year 2009-10 starting from January 2010:

Engineering : Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical

Sciences : Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics

Humanities and Social Sciences : Economics/Finance, English, Sociology and Philosophy

Information Brochure and Application Forms may also be obtained by post or in person up to 16th December, 2009 from the OSD, IIT Indore Cell, IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai 400 076 on the payment of Rs.300/-(Rs.150/- for SC/ST candidates) through Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Registrar IIT Bombay’ payable at SBI, IIT Powai branch, Mumbai’.

The application must be received latest by 16th December, 2009.

To obtain Application Form and Information Brochure by post, please enclose a self-addressed strong cloth-lined envelope (size 27cms x 20cms) affixed with postage stamps of Rs.30/-. Interviews will be held in 4th week of December, 2009.
