Girls outshine boys in UP board exams

CELEBRATION TIMES: Kamal Sharma of Avadh Collegiate scored 91.2% in UP Board intermediate examination. The results declared on Wednesday saw 88.63 per cent girls and 73.14 per cent boys clearing the exams. The overall pass percentage stood at 79.52%. Director, secondary education, Prabha Tripathi said that around 21,22,779 students were registered for the board exams.
