General Instructions:

(i) There are 26 questions in all.

(ii) Answer all questions are compulsory.

(iii) Marks for questions are indicated against it.

(iv) Question Nos. 1-10 are very short-answer questions carrying 1 mark each. Answers to them should normally not exceed 20 words each.

(v) Question Nos. 11 to 20 are short-answer questions carrying 3 mark each. Answers to them should normally not exceed 80 words each.

(vi) Question Nos. 21-25 are long-answer questions carrying 5 marks each. Answers to them should normally not exceed 150 words each.

(vii) Question Nos. 26 is related to identification or locating and labeling of geographical features on maps.

(viii) Outline maps of the World and India provided to you must be attached within your answer book.

(ix) Use of templates or stencils for drawing outline maps, is allowed.

20. Study the map given below and answer the questions that follow:

     (20.1) Name any four and steel and plants related to the three states of Chhota-Nagpur region.

     (20.2) Explain the main reason responsible for the concentration of the iron and steel plants in this region.
