9. Do as directed :

(Add question-tag and rewrite the sentence) 1

(Combine the pair of sentences using 'as long as' and rewrite) 1

(Use Unless' in place of If ... . not and rewrite) 1

leave for four days as your mother is serious and you have to

attend her. You are Vinod Kumar a student of Govt. Boys Higher

14. Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions given below:

India is a land of fields, farms and villages. Bukhatir, the most

remote and backward small village of our state, is awaking now.

But long ago there were three fools-Billu, Monu and Kadichand.

They were friends by chance. These three fools reached a city. A

big palace came to their sight whose towers' height was about fifty to sixty yards. They were perplexed to see the height of the tower and began to express their own folly.

Monu said, "How tall the kings were in ancient times who reached the top of the tower." Billu said, "You are a great fool, the kings

were not so tall at that time. This tower was made by lying it on the earth first and then it was erected."

Third one said. 'Both of you are big fools. It was a well, when it was pulled upside and it became a tower." Monu said, "Perhaps urban people knew some magic." Kadichand said, "Yes, you are right."

Once my father saw here a goldsmith throwing his gold into fire to

get pure and shining and really after a while the gold came out of

fire in its pure and shining form. But when my father used the same method to get pure and shining cotton, he got nothing but ashes.

Questions :
