PATNA: A seven-year-old boy was kidnapped by three persons on way to his school at Gandhi Maidan area in the city on Monday.

The three motorcycle-borne persons stopped a car in which the boy was travelling at gunpoint near a posh hotel in Gandhi Maidan area and kidnapped him, ADG (headquarters) Neelmani said.

The Class I student, who has been identified as Shreya, was on way to Christ Church school from his residence at Kankarbagh area.

Five other children were also travelling in the car.
