Admission to Post Graduate Diploma in E-Learning
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers the Online Post Graduate Diploma in E-Learning (PGDEL) from January 2010 through its Staff Training and Research Institute of Distance Education (STRIDE). The objectives of the programme are to develop human resource capabilities in planning, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating e-learning programmes. The programme consists of five courses with a total credit weight of 24 credits, including a Project Work of eight credits.

Target Groups:
The programme aims at developing competencies in design, development, implementation and management of online programmes at all levels of education, including corporate training. Thus, the target group of the programme includes teachers, trainers, training managers, instructional designers, and course developers in schools, colleges, universities, and business and industry.
Duration:
1 year (minimum); 2 years (maximum).

Eligibility:
The eligibility for PGDEL is graduation in any discipline. Preference shall be given to higher degree holders. See Programme Details in the website.Programme Fees: Rs. 15, 000/- (can be paid in two installments of Rs. 8000/- for Semester I, and Rs, 7000/- for Semester II) to be paid at the time of admission. Registration Fee of Rs. 100/- shall be applicable at the time of submission of application.
