Admission Notice 2010-11
Application are invited from sligible graduates for admission to the following non-residential course.
Diploma in Yoga Science (D.Y.Sc.) for graduates (One year duration)
Eligibility: A Graduate from a recognized University with minimum 40% marks in aggregate. 5% weighatage will be given to those possessing PG Degree in any subject.
Age Limit: Below 30 years as on 01-08-2010 (10 years age relaxation for in-service candidates, who joins the course on deputation through proper channel).
No. of Seats: 115 (GM-58, OBC-31, SC-17 & ST-9). In addition in this 2 seats are reserved for students from Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 2 for North-East States and 1 for Foreign students.
Selection: Will be on merit-cum-reservation on qualifying degree.
Scholarship: Rs. 8,000/- p.m. to 2 students each from Andaman & Nicobar Island and North-East States.
The Application of those candidates shall be forwarded by the concerned Health/Ayush Deptt. of he States/ UT. However, the candidate may send an advance copy of their application to MDNIY.
Hostel: The Institute will provide hostel facility for 25 meritorious students (State other then Delhi and NCR) on some candidates. The boarding and lodging charges will be Rs. 2500/- per month.
The application form and prospectus can be obtained from the office of MDNIY from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on any working day from 15.07.2010 on payment of Rs. 200/- in Cash/Demand Draft in Favour of “Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga” payable at any Nationalized bank only.
Application form and prospectus can also be download from website which may be sent alongwith Demand Draft for Rs. 200/-.
The last date for receipt of the filled-in applications in the office of MDNIY is 12.08.2010 and for the candidates of Andaman & Nicobar and North-East States is 20.08.2010.
