Admission Notice for MD Course
MD Programme at IMS & SH: Doctor of Medicine (MD), a 3 years course approved by Medical Council of India (MCI) at Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital (IMS & SH), a constituent of Siksha O Anusandhan Deemed to be University, for six MD courses for the academic session 2011 starting from May 2011.
SOA University is going to conduct entrance test for admission into MD courses with specialization in Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry, Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology on 28th April 2011 (9.00 AM to 12.30 PM).
Eligibility Criteria: Minimum of MBBS Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India. Must have completed the required period of 12 months pre-registration Internship from a recognized hospital on or before 31st March 2011.

Download Call Letter / Admit Card: 26th April 2011 (12.00 Noon)
(Admit card for the Entrance examination will be available on the said date from 12 noon onwards.)

Display of Merit list: 29th April 2011 (FN)

Examination: The Examination will be held on 28th April 2011 (Thursday) at 9.00 AM to 12.30 PM. The examination pattern will be multiple choices with 300 questions from Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical Subjects. The candidate has to select the correct response by darkening the correct circle. Each correct answer shall fetch 4 marks whereas each incorrect answer will lead to deduction of 1 mark.
Counselling Process : Candidates have to report with the following Original Documents and DD of Rs. 30,000 /- Drawn in favor of Siksha O Anusandhan University Payable at Bhubaneswar.
(i) Admit Card duly signed by the invigilator
(ii) Rank Card downloaded
(iii) 10th and 12th Mark Sheet and Pass certificate
(iv) Mark Sheets of MBBS 1st, 2nd and 3rd year Examinations and Degree Certificate
(v) Internship Completion Certificate from the Head of Institution
(vi) Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or State Medical Council
(vii) SC / ST / PH Certificate
(viii) Two sets of photocopy of all the above documents
(ix) 4 recent Passport size color photographs
