Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement of Project Assistant in CIMFR, Dhanbad or its units/field centres for the time-bound project. The candidates, having following qualifications and experience may apply on a plain paper, indicating Notification No., Name, Father’s name, Sex, Date of birth, Qualification (percentage of marks & year of passing from Matric onwards), Category (SC/ST/OBC/General), Address (Permanent & Correspondence along with contact No: viz Mobile/Landline No. & E-mail address), Experience etc. and Details of relationship with CIMFR / CSIR employees and, Signature of applicant alongwith copies of all testimonials and certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer and a self-attested passport size photograph.
The other details are as under :-
1. Name of the Position (A) : Project Assistant Level II ,
Number of Position : 06 (Six)
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech (Chemical Engg.)- 03 (Three) positions. M.Sc (Chemistry)- 02 (Two) positions B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/ Instrumentation/Chemical Engg)- 01 (One) position. All the above qualifications with minimum 55% marks. In case of SC/ST candidates these criteria shall be relaxed by 5%.
2. Name of the Position (B) : Project Assistant Level II,
Number of Position : 01 (One)
Qualification : M.Sc/B.Tech (Remote Sensing/Geology/Mining Engg /Geophysics) with minimum 55% marks. In case of SC/ST candidates, these criteria shall be relaxed by 5%.
Stipend (for A& B) : Rs.12,000 per month (Consolidated).
Age (for A & B) : Not more than 28 years as on 30-03-2010 Age will be relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged applicants etc., as per GOI rules.
3. Name of the Position (C) : Project Assistant Level III,
Number of Position : 01 (One)
Qualification : M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech (Remote Sensing/Geology/Mining Engg/Geophysics) with minimum 55% marks & two years experience in related field. In case of SC/ST candidates, these criteria shall be relaxed by 5%.
Stipend : Rs.14,000 per month (Consolidated).
Age : Not more than 32 years as on 30-03-2010 Age will be relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged applicants etc., as per GOI rules.
Duration (for A, B & C) :- Three Years.
Project Title (for A) :- Development of Indigenous Catalyst through Pilot scale studies of Coal-to-liquid (CTL) conversion technology.
Project Title (for B& C) :- An approach to explore the application of spectro-radiometry as a tool for estimation of coal quality in the field.
Application completed in all respects, should reach the Director, Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research, Barwa Road, Dhanbad on or before 30-03-2010. Incomplete applications or applications received after closing date shall be rejected straightway. This notification is also available in Institute’s Website : www.cimfr.nic.in.
