The university is inviting applications form candidates for courses commencing from July 2010 for its institutes.
Institute of forensic science
M.Sc.Forensic Science – 2 years (4 semesters)
With specialization in Forensic Biotechnology/Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology/Forensic Physical Science/ Questioned Document and Fingerprints/ Forensic Information Technology.
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Science/ Medicine/ Engineering/ Pharmacy with minimum 55% marks. Form fees Rs. 500/-
Certificate Online Courses:
1. Certificate Diploma in Cyber Security-6 months
2. Certification in Information Security-3 months
3. Certification in Network Security-3 months
Eligibility : Bachelor degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks with basic knowledge of computer theory and practical aspect. Form fees Rs. 1000/-
Institute of Behavioral Science
1. P.G. Diploma in Forensic Psychology-1 year
Eligibility: M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology with minimum 50% marks.
2. M.Psy.In Clinical Psychology-2 years(P.G. Professional)
Eligibility: B.A./B.Sc./B.Psy. degree with Psychology as one of the optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks.
Form fees for these courses is Rs. 500/-
3. Advanced Diploma in Physiotherapy for visually challenged-3 1/2 years
Eligibility: Visually Challenged candidate with min. qualification of HSC from any stream with English as a subject or any other equivalent examination from any other Board recognization by the Government/University. (Form Fees: Rs. 100/-)
Institute of Research and Development
1. Master in Forensic Pharmacy-2 years
Eligibility: B.Pharm. degree with min. 55% marks. Preference will be given to GATE/GPAT qualified candidates.
2. Masters in Forensic Nano Technology-2 years
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Science/Medicine /Engineering/ Pharmacy with minimum 5% marks
Form fees for these courses in Rs. 1000/-
Ph.D. Programmes
Candidates from all the discipline leading to Ph.D. Degree in Forensic Sciences and Behavioral Sciences. (Form fees: Rs. 500/-)
