Age Relaxation:
(a) Relaxation upto 5 years against reserved posts for SCs/STs.
(b) Relaxation upto 3 years against reserved posts for OBCs.
(c) Reservation for Ex-servicemen will be provided as per rules.
(d) Age Relaxation for Departmental candidates
i) Station Officer/A AND Sub Officer/A – 50 Years.
ii) Leading Fireman/A – 42 Years.
(e) Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years shall be admissible to persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st day of January 1980 to 31st day of December, 1989 provided that the relaxation in the upper age limit for appearing at any examination shall be subject to the maximum number of chances permissible under the relevant rules.
How to Apply : Apply in the prescribed application format alongwith a attested copies of certificates and a recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the right hand top corner of the application. One additional copy of passport size photograph should also be sent along with the application to designated address as prescribed in the detailed administration so as to reach on oe before 30/11/2009.
The application and the outer cover should be superscribed as "Application for the post of ______, Code No. of the Post ___ Discipline ____ againstAdvertisement No. HWB/1/2009".
