The National Centre for Disability Studies (NCDS), IGNOU invites eligible candidates for Walk-in Interview for the following position

i) Consultant: - To support in development of Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Rehabilitation Psychology.

Emoluments (Consolidated):Rs.22,500/- to Rs.30,000/- per month (depending upon experience)

Eligibility: Ph.D/M.Phil in Psychology or equivalent qualification.

Desirable: Experience in working as Rehabilitation Psychologist

ii) Consultant: To support development of course work in Ph.D in Disability Studies.

Emoluments (Consolidated):Rs.30, 000/- to Rs. 37500/- per month (depending upon experience)

Eligibility: Ph.D in social science with minimum 10 years experience in Education/Disability Rehabilitation.

Retired Person having the relevant experience may also attend the interview

iii) Consultant: Special Examination Unit, NCDS:

Emoluments (Consolidated):Rs.22,500/- to Rs.30,000/- per month (depending upon experience)

Eligibility: Bachelor degree with experience in conducting university level examination.

Retd person with relevant experience may also attend the interview

Place of Interview: The Interview shall take place at National Centre for Disability Studies (NCDS), ā€˜Gā€™ Block, Zakir Hussain Bhawan, New Academic Complex, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi ā€“ 110 068

Date and Time of Interview: 7th March, 2010 at 11.00 A.M to 2.P.M.

Please note the following:

1. The Candidates should bring their original certificates of educational qualification, proof of age, marks sheet, experience and caste (if applicable) for verification, failing which you will not be permitted to appear in the interview.

2. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the above interview.

3. Any candidate reaching late will not be permitted to appear in the interview.

Other terms and conditions

1. The contract for the above mentioned position is purely contractual initially for six months.

2. The contract engagement to these positions shall not be part of the regular cadres nor would any special preferential treatment be given to such contractual staff in the matter of recruitment to regular posts.

The contract engagement shall have no vested right prior to and after the completion of the contract period to ask for regularization/absorption in IGNOU.
