Applications are invited from motivated students, with consistently good academic records, for enrolment in a Ph. D. programme (also Integrated Ph. D. Programme) in Physics (including various interdisciplinary research areas) / Theoretical Computer Science at any of the participating institutions.

Important Dates:

1. Website opening and on-line submission of applications will be available at http://jest2010.aries.res.in from November 16, 2009.

2. Request for printed application forms should reach at December 14, 2009.

3. Last date for receipt of the filled applications, and ON-LINE submission of applications, is December 31, 2009.

4. The JEST - 2010 examination will be held on February 21, 2010 from 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M.
