Applications are invited to fill up the vacant or likely to be vacant posts (tenure) of Senior Residents in the Pay Band -3 [Rs.15600 – 39100] + GP-6600/- and allowances as admissible under Residency scheme in the following specialties.9670392707

1. Department: Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Vacancy: (Gen-1, ST-1, OBC-1)

2. Department: Orthodontics
Vacancy:  (Gen-1, ST-1, OBC-2)

3. Department: Pedodontics
Vacancy: (Gen-1)

4. Department: Periodontics
Vacancy: (Gen-1, SC-1)

5. Department: Oral Medicine & Radiology
Vacancy: (SC-1)

Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed form available on the website www.maids.ac.in, www.madch.ac.in. Duly filled in applications alongwith supporting documents should be submitted at Room No. 116, 1st floor, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, B.S.Zafar Marg, New Delhi-110002, on or before 23-04-2011 (Saturday) upto 12.00 Noon.

Eligibility : Passed MDS in the concerned speciality, from a recognized University.

Fee Payble : Rs.1000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PH. The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director Principal, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi, Payable at Delhi.

Collection of Hall Ticket: 27.04.2011
Date of written (MCQ) exam: 28.04.2011 (11.AM)
Declaration of Result: 29.04.2011
Date of Interview: 30.04.2011( 9.00AM)

Mode of Selection : The selection will be made through written test followed by interview of shortlisted candidates. The written test (MCQs) would consist of two parts. Part-I (General Dentistry) [35 questions] and Part-II (Speciality), [65 questions]. Duration of examination: Part-I, 35 Minutes & Part-II, 65 Minutes, with a break of 10 Minutes. There will be negative marking. One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Only qualified candidates will be called for interview (Qualifying Marks for Gen-50%, OBC-45%, SC/ST-40%)

Maximum Age Limit: 35 years. Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST candidates as per rule.

OBC certificate issued from other than GNCT of Delhi, will be considered under General category.
