Applications are invited from Indian nationals to fill up 380 vacancies of Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Male and 82 vacancies of Sub-Inspector (Executive) - Woman in Delhi Police in the pay scale of PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- and other allowances as admissible. Recruitment will be held at Delhi for which candidates from all parts of the country fulfilling the following conditions are eligible to apply:-
Educational Qualification:
Should have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university at the time of filling up of application form.
Age:
20 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009 (Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST-05 years, OBC-03 years, Sportsman/woman-05 years, and age relaxation to Departmental/Ex-servicemen and Widow/divorced women/judicially separated women who are not re-married, as per rules.
Physical measurement standards
1. Male Candidates
Height: Minimum 170 cms. Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas,
Chest: Minimum 81 cms. 85 cms after expansion. Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas.
2. Female Candidates
Height: Minimum 157 cms. Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas and SC/ST candidates

Application forms sent in any other format shall be rejected.
The application forms should be sent through ordinary post at Post Box No. 8020, Delhi110033. The application fee would be Rs. 100/- (in the form of demand/bank draft/banker's cheque). The application fee for SC/ST and ex-serviceman candidates is exempted, however they will have to attach photocopy of caste certificates/discharge book alongwith the application form, duly attested by a serving Gazetted Officer.
