The State Water Resources Agency (SWaRA) and State Water Resources Data and Analysis Center (SWaRDAC) U.P. Irrigation Deptt. invite applications for the following posts on contract / package basis for a maximum of 3 years or completion of Uttar Pradesh Water Sector Restructuring Project which ever is less. Application along with details curriculum-vitae and 2 recent passport size photographs and attested photocopies of concern document should be submitted to Irrigation & Drainage Expert, State Water Resources Agency, Walmi Bhawan, Ground Floor, Utrethia, Lucknow-226026 latest by 31-12-2009.

1. Name of Post : Mathematical Modelling Expert (Ground Water)
Vacancy : 1 Post
Educational Qualification: Master Degree/Ph.D. (Water Resources/ Hydrology / Fluid Mechanics)
Experience: 5 to 7 years experience in Ground Water Modelling, Ground Water Flow Simulation Linear I Non-Linear programs of system Variables / Maximization of benefits.
2. Name of Post : Hydrologist
Vacancy : 1 Post
Educational Qualification: M.E./M. Tech (Hydrology/ Water resources) or equivalent Desirable Ph.D.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience for Ph.D. Candidate or 08 years experience in Watershed / Basin Planning.
General Conditions: 1. Upper age limit 62 years on 31-12-2009. 2. Employed candidates should send their applications
through proper channel and NOC must be submitted before the Interview. 3. Candidates are requested to specify their required package in application however the package will be decided mutually in the Interview. 4. The assignment of 3 years may be extended further if required.
