UTTARAKHAND PRE-MEDICAL TEST-2009

NOTIFICATION FOR SECOND EXTENDED COUNSELING

The UPMT-2009 Examination was conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University Uttarakhand Dehradun and Mark Sheets to all the candidate have been sent. The counseling for allotment of Govt quota seats in various courses and colleges for qualified candidates will be conducted at Director General Medical Health & Family Welfare 107 Chander Nagar. Dehradun Campus on 25.09.2009. Vide Govt Order No-701/XXVIII(1)/2009-119/2006 dt.14.09.2009. The Govt. of Uttarakhand has constituted a separate Counseling Board for this purpose.

The Candidate of reserved categories will have the option to take allotment of seat in the general (open category) on his/her merit to take the eat in the respective category according to the merit.

1- The invitation for Counseling does not confirm any right for admission. The admission will be provided based on the available seats in a particular category/course depending on the merit of the candidates.

2- Before appearing for the counseling the candidate must read all the important instructions specifically those mentioned in the information Brochure carefully and must bring original documents along with one attested photocopy of the following documents.

     I. 12th pass/equivalent certificate (as mentioned) and mark sheet.

    II. Photographs as provided in UPMT-2009 Application Form

   III. Domicile certificate

   IV. UPMT-2009 admit card in original (refer information Brochure page-9. 4 3)

    V. Mark Sheet UPMT-2009 in original (refer information Brochure page-10. 5.2) & If not received yet please contact Vice Chancellor Uttarakhand Technical University. 274 Phase-1. Vasant Vihar. Dehradun.

   VI. 10th or equivalent class pass certificate for date of birth

  VII. Caste certificate/sub-category certificate (if candidate belong to category or Sub-Category)

  VIII. Bank Draft from Nationalised Bank of Rs. 2000/- in favour of Director General. Medical Health & Family Welfare, Dehradun. (only draft others not permissible)

   IX. The caste and domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority should be in prescribed format and as per instructions given in the information brochure of UPMT-2009

    X. Authority letter in original if any. (refer Information Brochure page-15 & Rules on page No-1)

3- The candidate interested to participate in the counseling should register themselves between 9:00 a.m. to 2 00 p.m. on the date of counseling (25 Sep 2009) by paying Rs. 200/- in cash.

4- As soon as the seats of a particular category are filled Counseling for that particular category will be closed.

5- The candidate who fails to produce necessary caste certificate documents related to his/her category or other certificate or whose certificates are not deemed appropriate by the counseling Board shall neither be allotted the seats nor shall get benefit of that particular category. He may be treated as a General Category.

6- The candidate not willing to avail the seat as per his/her rank in the Merit is not required to appear before the Counseling Board However, he/she shall remain eligible for the next counseling (if conducted).

7- The candidate should make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging during the Counseling.

8- Candidates are informed that if any documents found forged his/her admission will be terminated and legal action will be taken against them as per rules.

9- The qualified candidate eligible for Counseling will appear before the Counseling Board of respective date as shown below and no separate call letters or information will be sent to the candidate.

10- The decision of the Counseling Board shall be final and binding in all matters

                              2 - Narain Swami Dental College Nanda ki Chowki, Dehradun will be allotted Subject to the permission of UCI up to the time of counseling. Seat details will be displayed at the time of Counseling..

B- Those candidates who are not appearing in counseling but sending authorised person with proper authority letter must submit the proof of not attending the counseling.

C- Those candidates who are allotted seats in the first/Second extended counseling & they have not taken admission in the allotted course are not eligible to participate in this counseling.
