The nineties have been the decade of management. The twenty-first century promises an era of creativity, communication and cross-cultural economic markets. Notwithstanding the prevailing slow pace of development, India is poised to become the focal point of Asia's accelerated economic growth and sustained foreign investment. Increasingly attractive business and career opportunities are available. Delhi School of Business was founded in 1997 in response to the need for better quality education in the field of management education. The eminent people represented in our Advisory Council together with a Faculty of internationally acknowledge teachers and managers give personal care to students at DSB, to foster in them a high degree of competence and sensitivity toward the fast-changing technological and academic world.The Cutting Edge of DSB The cutting edge of DSB is its intellectual capital comprising a dedicated core group of academicians working in tandem with the visiting Faculty from the fields of government, corporate management labour relations and education. DSB is a forum where students and participants interact with leading managers and management gurus to develop comprehensive management sensitivity, understand power dynamics, experience the fluid and complex markets and learn to evolve creative solutions relevant to real world situations. Necessary tools, concepts and approaches are provided to participants, enabling them to integrate diverse disciplines and backgrounds successfully and function as a team.

A Few Innovative Features of DSB Pedagogy DSB is the only school in the country, which imparts a copyrighted Eastern Management course, contents of which include holistic understanding of Indian, Chinese and Japanese psyche, in comparison with Western attitudes, to synthesis a global outlook cutting across cultural barriers. This enables students to be intensely aware of traditional values, simultaneously being receptive to the latest techniques which helps widen horizons, realize one's highest potential and develop flexibility of approach. 'Swadhyaya Chakra'; or guided self-learning Prof. N.K. Singh, is part of the curricula, wherein the students are exposed to industry and business practices once a week for 3 months and are thus able to apply and practice theoretical concepts and knowledge to the business world. The values of yoga, meditation humanism, love and truth are emphasized as means of managing executive stress.
