The University of Kumaun has instituted a comprehensive Two-Year Full Time Programme leading to the Degree of MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) consisting of four semester. The Kumaun University Master of Business Administration (KUMBA) programme has been approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and also aided by the University Grants Commission ( UGC), New Delhi. The visiting/vuest faculties have been invited from premier institutes like the IIM, XLRI, IIT, Panjab University and Delhi School Of Economics, Faculty Of Management Studies, University of Delhi. Bhimtal also boasts various production facilities of premier Indian companies and in the vicinityu of the lake city industrial areas like Ranibagh, Rudrapur and Kashipur are located which facilitates industrial tours and corporate visits.KUMBA is all set to celebrate its second anniversary. The two years have witnessed remarkable changes in every sphere. From a modest beginning in Nov. 1997, the DEMS today boasts of being the leader in management education in the entire region of Uttarakhand.
