The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (ICFAI University) is situated at West Tripura. The ICFAI University (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) in Uttarakhand, Tripura, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Jharkhand under respective legislations. The ICFAI University, Tripura was established in 2004 through an Act of State Legislature. The University has been approved by the University Grants Commission, under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London, the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and the Federation of Universities, India.
The University offers Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral programs in management, finance, science and technology, information technology, education, law and other areas.

Admissions:
The selection of students into the B.Sc., BBA, BCA, BHTM, MCA Programs is made through qualifying examination performance and Interview.
For MBA Program Students are exempted from IBSAT 2010 if any of the following test score(s) are provided: IBSAT 2009 , XAT, GMAT , MAT, CAT, ATMA.
Students enroll into the MIFA program are required to submit the enrollment application form along with the admission fee of Rs.5,000. All eligible students will be enrolled and their enrollment will be confirmed. For B.Tech. Program based on the rank obtained in AIEEE 2010/ Respective State Engineering Tests. For LLB Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2010 scores are also acceptable.
Admission into one year full-time B.Ed. Program is on the basis of merit/ personal interview by a committee constituted for the purpose.
