Subject: Counselling of wards of NRI for admission to first year B.Tech. Programme.
Dear Candidate,
With reference to your application for admission under NRI quota to First year B.Tech. programmes available in Govt. aided institutions affiliated to G.B.Technical University, Lucknow, this is to inform you that the counselling will be held as per the following schedule, for admission against available seats.
Date of Reporting 03-07-2010 ( 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 noon )
Date of Counselling ** 03-07-2010 ( 3.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.)
Venue of Counselling Gautam Budh Technical University, I.E.T. Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow – 226 021 UP
You are requested to report on. 03-07-2010 as indicated above along with the following original certificates / documents (with one photocopy of each), failing which you will not be permitted to participating in the counseling.
1- Original Mark sheet of (10+2) or equivalent examination.
2- Original 10th (High School) certificate for proof of age.
3- Original Certificate obtained from Indian Diplomatic Mission / Chancellery / High
Commission under their seal to the effect that the candidate or the person sponsoring him / her is Non- residential Indian in that country presently. Please note that in absence of this certificate the candidature shall stand cancelled.
4- Original document / certificate clearly indicating that the candidate is real brother / real sister / real son / real daughter or children of real son / daughter or real brother / sister of the NRI.
5- A letter from NRI certifying that he / she is sponsoring the candidate and is ready to bear educational expenses of the candidate for the entire duration of the programme.
6- Three passport size recent photographs.
7- An advance fee of Rs. 5000=00 in the form of crossed demand draft and counseling fee of Rs. 500=00 in the form of Account Payee demand draft (both drafts in favour of “Finance Officer, G.B. Technical University”, payable at Lucknow has to be deposited at the time of reporting.
8. If the number of candidates appeared are more, the counselling may continue till late hours and / or may continue following day. Therefore candidates are required to come prepared accordingly.
Please note that the total number of available seats in this quota is less than the total number of candidates called for counselling. As such the allotment of seats is not guaranteed to every candidate called for counselling.
As per the existing U.P. Govt. Order, the tuition fee for NRI candidate is $5,000.00
(USD 5000) per year. The selected candidates have to deposit the fee in the allotted institute latest by July, 07, 2010 to secure his/her admission.
