Vikram University is a university in the city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was established in 1957 after the special verdict of the high Court. Otherwise Vikram University is taken as legally established from the date of publication of the supplementary Madhyabharat Gazette special issue dated 25th June, 1955. The foundation stone was laid by the then Home Minister of India Govind Vallabh Pant. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in India has awarded grade "A" to the university.
