CENTRAL ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION
Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament, invites applications for filling up of a few posts on deputation on foreign Service terms from employees of Central/ State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Recognized Research Institutions etc.

The details of such posts like scale of pay, required qualifications/qualifying service and experience etc. of such posts are given below:-
1. Name of the Post: Deputy Chief (Legal)
No. of Post: 02
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs.7600/- per month
Qualifications: Degree in Law preferably with specialization in regulation.
2. Name of the Post: Assistant Chief (Engg)
No. of Post: 03
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 Plus Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- per month.
Qualifications: Degree in Engineering Graduate Degree in Engineering with a relaxation to Diploma in Engineering for members of the Central Power Engineering (Group ‘A') Services promoted from feeder services.
3. Name of the Post: Principal Private Secretary
No. of Post: 01
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- per month
Qualifications: Must be Computer-literate. Proficient in using MS Office
4. Name of the Post: Private Secretary
No. of Post: 03
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- per month.
Qualifications: Must be Computer-literate. Proficient in using MS Office
The applications as per prescribed format given in Annexure-I duly completed and signed must reach the undersigned by 16-11-2009. The applications must be routed through proper channel. The sponsoring authorities are requested to forward the applications of eligible & interested candidates whose services can be spared in the event of their selection. While forwarding applications, attested copies of latest five years Annual Confidential Reports and Vigilance clearance certificate of the candidates concerned may be enclosed.
