IBSAT

IBSAT (Icfai Business School Aptitude Test) is an aptitude test conducted by the Federation of Universities (FedUni), for students seeking admission into the management programs. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant's ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

IBSAT Schedule

Last date for receipt of completed OMR Application Form is: December 12, 2009 (Saturday).

Online Admit Cards: From November 16, 2009 onwards at website (No hard copies will be mailed)

IBSAT Date: December 27, 2009 (Sunday) 10.00 am - 12.00 noon

Reporting Time: 9.00 am at Test Center.

Eligibility for IBSAT

  • Graduates (any discipline) in English medium with 50% and above aggregate marks.
  • Final year students awaiting results can also apply.

How to Apply

Applicants interested in appearing for IBSAT can apply by any one of the following methods.

 

  1. Online Application Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at website and make payment of Rs.1,100 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard/Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying through online should attach their scanned color photograph along with the Online Application. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

  2. Download of Application Form Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from website, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of Rs.1,100 towards the cost (DD in favor of "IUCF A/c IBSAT" payable at Hyderabad). The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

  3. Applicants with GMAT® Scores GMAT® scores are also accepted by IBS. The GMAT® Code number of IBS is 7061. Applicants with GMAT® score of 550 and above are exempted from appearing for IBSAT.Applicants with GMAT® scores have to download the Application Form from www.ibsat.org, complete it and send it along with the GMAT® score report and a demand draft of Rs.1,100 towards the cost, on or before December 12, 2009 to the Admissions Officer, IBS, #6-3-354/1/2, Hindi Nagar, Punjagutta, Hyderabad – 500034. Documents to be sent with application form

The applicants applying through any one of the above modes should enclose the self attested copies of X Class, XII Class and graduation marksheets (Year wise/Semester wise) along with the OMR Application Form. The students applying online have to forward the attested copies of their marksheets to the Admissions Officer. The students in the final year of graduation may enclose the marksheets up to the current semester/ year.

Last Date for Application

The last date for receipt of completed OMR Application Form is December 12, 2009. All applicants are advised to adhere to the last date prescribed for submission of the application form. Please submit the application form as early as possible to improve the chances of getting the test center of your choice.

E-Mail

It is mandatory for all the applicants to indicate their e-mail ID, as all important information relating to IBSAT will be intimated to the applicants by e-mail.

Similarly all applicants are required to send their letters/correspondence by e-mail only to: info@ibsat.org clearly indicating their names and Application Number of IBSAT.

123 Test Centers all over India

IBSAT will be conducted at 123 test centers across India. The applicants can choose any one of the test center available for IBSAT. The list of all the 123 test centers is provided on Page 5. Please note that requests for change of test center will not be entertained under normal circumstances. In the event of not having enough seats at the requested test center, applicants will be allotted the nearest alternative center. IBSAT Office reserves the right to add or delete a few test centers depending upon the situation. The same will be intimated on the website www.ibsat.org for the benefit of applicants.

Online Admit Card

All applicants who have applied for IBSAT are eligible to download Online Admit Cards from www.ibsat.org, using the application number and date of birth as their user name and password respectively from November 16, 2009 onwards. The online admit card will carry the photo, name, address, roll number of the applicant, test date, timings, and details of the test center. No hard copies of Admit Cards will be sent. The admit card is not transferable. Impersonation is a punishable offence under law.

IBSAT Results

The results of the IBSAT 2009 will be hosted online on www.ibsat.org on January 10, 2010. The details of the score obtained in the test will be intimated to all applicants.

Jurisdiction

Jurisdiction for all disputes (if any) relating to IBSAT is only/exclusively Hyderabad, India.
