ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) invites applications for the following temporary posts, but likely to continue indefinitely:
1. Name of the Post : Technician 'A' (Electronics)

Essential qualification & Experience : 8th Std. + 5 years experience in a similar capacity in a well established hotel/ canteen
UR-Unreserved; SC-Scheduled Caste; ST-Scheduled Tribe; OBC-Other Backward Classes; EX-Ex-servicemen; PWD-Persons with Disabilities; OH-Orthopaedically Handicapped; HH-Hearing Handicapped
Pay & Allowances: Basic pay of Rs. 7730/- (in Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-). In addition, Dearness Allowance, House RentAllowance and Transport Allowance will be admissible as per rules.
Age limit: 35 years as on 31.03.2010 (40 years for SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities are eligible forage relaxation as per rules.
How to apply: The application should be sent on a plain A4 size paper in the format given below (neatly typed or handwritten), affixing a recent passport size colour photograph at the place provided in the application, along with attested copies of all certificates/testimonials, to the Senior Administrative Officer (R&R), ISRO Satellite Centre, Department of Space, Old Airport Road, Bangalore-560 017, superscribing the cover with "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF (POST NO. and CATEGORY ), on or before 31.03.2010. Applications received after the due date will not be considered.
Selection Process: There will bean initial screening of applications based on factors such as percentage of marks, experience, etc., vis-a-vis the number of applications. The screened-in candidates will have to appear for skill test & interview. Outstation candidates called for trade test/interview will be paid to & fro second class railway fare by the shortest route from the address given in the application to the place of interview or bus fare, whichever is less, on production of proof of journey.
Other conditions/instructions: Candidates belonging to SC/ST should submit an attested copy of the Caste/Tribe certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed profomia applicable for reservation of jobs under the Government of India. Ex-servicemen have to submit an attested copy of the Discharge Certificate duly indicating the Ex-service status. In respect of OBC candidates, reservation will be available only to candidates who do not fall in the Creamy Layer. OBC certificate must specifically include the clause regarding exclusion from Creamy Layer and should be updated/valid at the time of submission of the application. Sportspersons who have participated in any of the recognized sports events will be given special consideration as per rules, if they fulfill other conditions. Those who are already in employment under the Central Govemment/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body or any Organisation which is aided by the Government, should apply through proper channel. In case they anticipate any delay in forwarding their applications, they may submit advance copy before the due date in the prescribed proforma, duly marking as ADVANCE COPY. Only Indian Nationals need apply. No interim correspondence will be entertained. ISAC reserves the right not to fill any or all the posts, if it decides so. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL BEA DISQUALIFICATION.
