It is proposed to fill-up following post as per details below purely on temporary basis for a period upto March, 2012 or termination of the project whichever is earlier under the time bound NAIP Project entitles "Georeferenced Soil Information System for Land Use Planning and Monitoring Soil and Land Quality for Agriculture".
Name of the Project : National Agriculture Innovation Project (NAIP)
Name of the Post Number and Duration : Senior Research Fellow (one Post) Upto March 2012
Emoluments : Rs. 12,000/- per month + HRA
Qualification :
(a) Essential Qualification
1) Master's degree (Soil Science & Agril. Chemistry/ Agricultural Chemistry/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/Geography)
(b) Desirable (atleast two of the following)
i) Experience in handling and analysis of soils by sophisticated analytical equipments in laboratory.
ii) Fairly good experience in handling computer.
iii) Experience in handling data in GIS environment using relevant software.
iv) Experience in handling soils and large amount of land use data for modeling exercise.
Age Limit : Maximum 35 Yrs for male and 40 yrs. for female.
Place, Date & Time of Interview : Walk-in-interview to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 10-03-2010 at Regional Centre Delhi, National Bureau of Soil Survey & Land Use Planning, IARI Campus, New Delhi-110012.
* Age relaxation as per rule for SC/ST/OBC.
Selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at NBSS&LUP/ICAR as the post is co-terminus with the project No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
