Bhagwan Mahaveer Institute of Engineering & Technology (BMIET) is an Engineering College located at Bahalgarh Road Sonepat (NCR) Haryana. It was established in 1999 by Bhagwan Mahaveer Education Trust with the objective of creating a center of excellence in the field of technical education at Sonepat. It is affiliated to M.D. University, Rohtak also An ISO 9001 : 2000 Certified Institute and approved by AICTE to conduct four year degree course in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering. The Foundation Stone was laid by Jain Muni Gupti Sagar Ji Maharaj in 1997. The College is established under Minority Educational Institutions Act providing 42.5% reservation in seats for Jain Students.
