Institute of Management & Information Science (IMIS) is situated in Bhubaneswar of the Indian state of Orissa. IMIS was established with an initiative and support from some of the leading industrial and business houses of Bhubaneswar to impart education to students and professionals in techno-managerial disciplines. It is an autonomous institute with the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.), Govt. of India, since year 1995.
Facilities :
The institute provides furnished residential accommodation for both girls and boys. Almost every student from outstation can avail such accommodation. But in the event of more applicants the preference will be given to those who come from the outside states. The residential arrangements are under the direct supervision of the Superintendent who is assisted by the Asst. Superintendent, to ensure smooth management. The students are required to abide by the rules of the hostel and to maintain discipline at all times.
Library : The library has a rich collection of academic books, reference manuals, journals, periodicals, etc., and is regularly replenished. It caters to the entire demand of students, consultants, research scholars and members of the IMIS Professional Association.
Computing : Adequate number of computers are available with the institute to cover the academic & organisational needs. A course equivalent to the 'O' level curriculum is an obligatory module for every student. Computer facilities are also kept open for the students even beyond the academic hours to encourage them in acquiring advanced skills and knowledge in IT through the Internet. The lab is also equipped to carry out research & consultancy assignments.

IMIS offers following two-year full time program:
* Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
* Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Finance & Control)
* Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Retail Management)
* Executive Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Ex. PGDM)
Admissions:
The selection will be made on the basis of scores of MAT, conducted by AIMA & XAT, conducted by XLRI followed by G.D. & P.I, which will be conducted at Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Guwahati, Raipur, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi and other parts of the country. The date for G.D. & P.I. will be declared later.
Eligibility: The minimum qualification for admission into this program is Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
